Factual Reports

For more than 20 years Mark has worked closely with law firms to undertake independent investigations into serious (and sometimes fatal) work place incidents. Since leaving his role as a lawyer within the legal unit of Office of Industrial Relations, Mark has since worked closely with lawyers, their clients and businesses to undertake factual independent investigations using the protection of legal professional privilege.

The combination of Marks’ hands on safety management experience and deep understanding of the WHS legal obligations enables reports to address the seminal safety and legal issues relevant to any event.

Mark has often provided reports to both the public and private sectors in such areas as Health, Civil Construction, Oil and Gas, Construction and Manufacturing.

Trained in ICAM, TapRoot and Human Factor investigation techniques, Mark is also able to undertake investigations into work place incident to identify direct and indirect causal factors, and measures to eliminate and or reduce the chances of reoccurrence.
